John R. Feighner, 70, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was born in Seattle, WA to the late Guy Feighner and Jacquline St. John. John worked for Cunningham Optical for 35 years and always enjoyed his work. He also enjoyed tinkering on cars, motorcycles, and his collection of antique clocks. John loved doing home improvements, landscaping, going to swap meets, and car shows. One thing is certain, wherever John went, he brought his dog, Lucy. Surviving are his wife, Deborah "Debbie" Feighner; children, Brian (Jodi) Feighner, Carrie (Andrew) Parrot, and Amanda Bunker; and his grandchildren, Harris, Dana, William, Camille, Devin, and Lilly. John was preceded in death by his siblings, Guy and Richard Feighner. Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Harvest Fellowship Church, 1001 W. Wallen Rd. Fort Wayne IN 46825 with calling beginning at 10:00 am. Memorials may be made to John's family or Parkview Home Health and Hospice. A celebration of John's life will be at a later date.
