John G. Edgar, 69, of Huntertown, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at his home. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Jerry and Ann Edgar. John was a member of First Assembly of God Church. John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Debi Edgar; his children, Danielle (Bill) Shannon, John (Holly) Edgar, Gabrielle (Travis) Asher, and Joshua Edgar; grandchildren, Billy (Amber) Shannon, Kelsey (Blake) Bakehorn, Graci Asher, Jaydon Asher, Kaleb Edgar, Adalyn Edgar, Alivia Edgar, Zoe Edgar, Joshua Edgar, Zara Edgar, Zion Edgar; 1 great grandchild, Hudson Bakehorn; siblings, Daniel (Leslie) Edgar, Jerry Edgar, Tim (Casey) Edgar, and Kimberly (Bill) Myers. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie "Tiff" Wall-Hall. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday March 25, 2025 at 11 am with visitation 1 hour prior at First Assembly of God Church,1400 W. Washington Center. Visitation will also take place at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St on Monday March 24, 2025 from 5-8pm. Burial will take place at Huntertown Cemetery. The family requests that guests feel free to dress casual and comfortable for John's visitation and services. Preferred memorials in John's honor may be directed to First Assembly of God Church or The Ronald McDonald House.
