Jocelyn L. Acker, 85, of Fort Wayne, Ind. Passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024. Jocelyn was born in Akron, Ind. To the late Norman "Clair" and Lousie Moore. She graduated from Indiana University and then became a teacher at Bellmont High School in Decatur, Ind. She later became a paralegal and worked for Baker and Daniels Law Firm. She also worked for Plews Shadley Law in Indianapolis. Jocelyn was a founding member of NIPA. She will be remembered for her hard work, loyalty, and dedication. She loved her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Jocelyn is survived by her daughters, Juli (Steven Medina) Jupin, and Angie Acker; grandchildren, Derek, Haley, and Morgan; 7 great grandchildren; sister in law, Connie Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother Norman Moore.
There will be a visitation on Friday January 3, 2025 from 5-7pm at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials in Jocelyn's honor may be directed to Angela Acker to assist with final medical and funeral expenses.
