Edith "Joan" Wells, 89, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Joan was the daughter of the late Earl and Edith Mack. Joan was a coder at International Harvester for 30 years, prior to her retirement. Joan took great care and passion in gardening. You would often find her outdoors tending to her acre sized garden and watching her flowers grow. She is survived by her children, Charlene Bredemeyer, Ronald Wells Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Runyan, Zachary Wells, Timothy Bredemeyer, Kyle Wells; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Lucian, Victor, Alyna, and Olivia. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Wells Sr. Calling will be Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 12 pm to 2 pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. A Committal Service will take place at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Erin's House for Grieving Children.
