Our beloved Joan M.Calhoun went home to be with Jesus at age 68, on January 10, 2026, in Fort Wayne, IN.
Joan was a loving and faithful wife to her cherished husband, Thomas of 35 beautiful years of marriage. She adored him and was deeply grateful for the love, care, and devotion he showed her. Their marriage was a testament to God’s faithfulness and a reflection of Christ’s love.
As a mother and grandmother, she was nurturing, prayerful, and loved her granddaughters. She poured into them with wisdom, grace, and unconditional love.
Joan was a minister of the gospel, a woman of prayer who sought to trust God fully. Her faith-filled legacy will be one remembered for generations. The impact will be felt long after she is gone in the hearts and minds of those she loved and who loved her.
While we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the assurance that she is now in the presence of her Savior, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her faith has become sight, and her prayers have been answered in full.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered
