Jerry W. Stephens, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday June 4th, 2024 at his home. Jerry was born to the late Wayne and Ella Stephens in Marietta, OH. He was a member of the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department where he served for 36 years. Jerry retired from Bowmar in 2019, he was previously employed at Magnavox. Jerry enjoyed operating his ham radio, water skiing, golfing, grilling on his Weber, and swing dancing. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marjorie; daughters, Shannon (Michael) Fletcher, and Kasi (Colin) Maple; grandchildren, Raese, Ella, Alex, Greysen, Max, Zayne, Hayden, Elyse, and Cayce; one great grandson, Ivan; brother, Larry and Tamela Stephens.
A funeral service for Jerry will take place on Monday June 17th 2024 at 3pm with visitation beginning at 1pm, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Preferred memorials may be directed to: The Treasure House, The Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, or Tunnels to Towers.
