Jerry Lee Bovie, 52, of Leo, IN passed away January 16, 2023 at his home. He was a proud and loving father, a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a graduate of Northrop High School and Indiana University, Bloomington. Jerry loved sports as he played baseball growing up and golfed during high school. He was also a passionate, lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins, Indiana Basketball, and Chicago Cubs. He worked 30 years at the Auburn Ponderosa Steak House, and was currently employed at Multimatic in Butler, IN. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Anne Bovie; son, Daniel and daughter, Abigail "Abby"; siblings, James Bovie, Lisa (Allen) Guthrie and Lori (Robert) Hartman all of Fort Wayne and Linda (Jeff) Gilmore of Huntertown, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee Bovie and Barbara Ann Bovie. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 am, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Rd. with calling one hour prior.
