Jerome L. Gould, 84, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Fort Wayne. Born in Erie, PA, Jerome was a son of the late Robert and Irene Gould. Jerome served our country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Notre Dame in accounting. During his working years, he was a CPA for many companies. He was previously a member of Weymouth Community Church in Medina, OH serving as an Elder, a seventeen-year member of Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto, FL; and board member and 30 years member of The Cleveland Athletic Club. He had a strong and steadfast faith in the Lord and served his fellow man in many ministries including prison ministry and was a regular for many years at Cypress Creek Juvenile Center where they called him "Pops" He enjoyed riding motorcycles and his call name was "Feather" along with golfing. Jerome is survived by his children, Christine (Phil) Overholt of Fort Wayne, Patrick Gould of Cleveland, OH, and Halle (Randy) Weinberger of Brooklyn, NY; six grandchildren, Amanda (Ray Smith) Overholt, Kayla (Andrew) Leichty, Jonathan Overholt, Madison Gould, Jacob Gould, and Nolan Weinberger; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Oakley, Jensen, and Eliza; siblings, John (Victoria) Gould, Thomas (Kathleen) Gould. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Jeanne Gould; and granddaughter, Brooklyn Grace Gould. A private memorial gathering will be held at later date. Memorials in her honor, may be made to Headwater's Church.
