Jennifer L. Meehan, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2026. Jenni was born to the late Robert and June Meehan in Evansville, IN.
Jenni graduated from Huntington Catholic High School. She went on to earn bachelor’s degrees in biology from Manchester University and nursing from Purdue University.
Jenni worked for the University of Ohio in cardiac care for 10 years before moving back to the Fort Wayne area and worked at Parkview Health for nearly 30 years. She took her nursing skills to Haiti on a mission to serve the under privileged and provide medical care to those in need. Jenni was nominated and inducted into the International Honor Society of Nursing.
Jenni is survived by her best friend, Michelle Cox; cousin, Susie Richardson; friends, Doug and Jan Cox, Natalie and Thomas Kaminski, Megan and Nick Perry, Andrew and Joci Plank, and Glenna Brickey.
She was preceded in death by her cousin, Carol Richardson; and many beloved pets.
A memorial service will be held on Friday October 30th 2026 at 4 pm with visitation beginning 2 hours prior at 2pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St.
