Jennifer Katherine McDaniel, 59, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Orlando, Florida, Jennifer lived a life marked by love, faith, and a heart devoted to serving others.
Jennifer faithfully served as a nurse throughout her career, beginning at the bedside and later devoting her talents to administrative leadership and medical research. Her work touched countless lives, but even more enduring was the way she lived out her faith—sharing Christ's love through her service, her compassion, and her beautiful, unforgettable laugh.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ron McDaniel; her sons, Marcus (Marin) McDaniel with their children, Landon and Adalynn, and Mitchell (Tessa) McDaniel with their children, Ellie, Kate, and Mason; and her sister, Erika Miller. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. Jennifer will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and above all, a faithful daughter of Christ.
Visitation will be held at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 North Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46825, on Saturday, September 13th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A graveside burial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, 5365 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46815.
Jennifer's life was a reflection of God's love. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit and legacy live on in her family and in all who were blessed to know her.
