Jennifer Adair, 80, passed away Sunday, October, 13th, 2024, in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Ross and Elizabeth Slater. Jennifer graduated from Southside High School in 1962 and then graduated from Ravenscroft Beaty College in 1963. Jennifer worked as an executive secretary for the principal at Memorial Park Middle School for 30 years in FWCS. Jennifer is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Adair; three children, Mark (Jennifer) Adair; Jon (Heidi) Adair, and Eric (Leslie) Adair; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three on the way; brother, John (Roberta) Slater, sister Jacqueline Witte; brother-in-law, John (Virgie) Adair; two nieces, and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne Boening, and an infant sister. A public visitation will be held in Jennifer's honor at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024. A funeral service will be held the following day on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Concordia Lutheran Church (4245 Lake Ave.) at 11:00 am with calling from 10:00 am until the service. A burial will take place following the service at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church and Parkview Hospice.
