Jennie L. Hirschy, age 52, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Celina, OH to Robert and Kathy Rutledge, who survive. Jennie worked as an administrator in healthcare for 33 years. She attended Pathway Community Church and is a member of First Church of Christ of Fort Recovery, OH. Jennie will be remembered for her giving heart and always putting the needs of others first in her life. She is also survived by her husband, Kurtt Hirschy; granddaughter, Lilly Thomas; brother, Robb "Dusty" (Jen) Rutledge; and nieces, Elizabeth King and Megan (Robert) Brockman. Service is 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Rd., with calling three hours prior beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial is 11:00 am, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery of Lagrange, IN. Memorials may be made to the family for Lilly's College Fund c/o Kurtt Hirschy.
