Jeffrey Jon Peterson, age 54, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne and graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1987.

He worked as an outside salesman for Lee Supply, Ft. Wayne and loved his coworkers and clients, many of which became friends. Previously, he was a plumber for 18 years and owned his own solar business. He had a love of all things football. Coaching several years at Concordia High School was one of his favorite things. He was a huge Michigan Wolverine Fan (Go Blue), as well as a Colts Fan. He coached several of his son's baseball teams at Georgetown Little League and loved watching him play hockey from a very young age and throughout High School at Snider. Jeff was a family man. He was a devoted husband to his wife Angie, wonderful father to his son Justin, and a proud grandpa to his grandsons Wright Jeffrey & Cash. He loved entertaining family and friends with pool parties and BBQs. He also had a love of golf and would play anytime he could whether it was on the course or on a simulator. Several years ago, he had the opportunity to connect with some members of his birth family which ended up being a wonderful blessing in his life where he maintained a strong relationship with them.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Angie Peterson of Fort Wayne; son, Justin (Tia) Applegate of Kronenwetter, WI; parents, Barrie and Judy Peterson of Fort Wayne; two grandsons, Cash and Wright Jeffrey; two brothers, Mike (Kyrie) Hernandezpeterson, and Brad Peterson; In-Laws, John and Mary Goelz, Rod Goelz, Andrea (Brian) Harpel, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Calling is also from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the funeral home.
