Jeffrey Alan "Jeff" Kinniard, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Parkview Hospital Randallia. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Jeff was the son of the late Russell Kinniard and Margaret (Nagy) Benham. Jeff proudly graduated from Kent State University. He proceeded to have a successful career in the insurance business that took him and his family from Columbus, OH to Dallas, TX to Denver, CO to Chicago, IL and culminating in Fort Wayne, IN at MedPro. Jeff's sense of humor, wit and natural curiosity shined through in everything he touched. This approach along with his knack for being an outstanding storyteller empowered everyone in his presence. Family always came first. His children's school and sporting functions were a priority where he was quick to provide wise counsel and tough love feedback. As an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan he could be found most Saturday's/Sunday's yelling at the TV and enjoying back and forth banter. Jeff was also passionate about cars and immersed himself into detailing, fixing, and driving his cars. He also loved being active, whether exercising, or doing yardwork. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Jeffri Lynn "Jeffra" Kinniard; children, Russell "Alex" (Joanne) Kinniard, Victoria "Tory" Kinniard; granddaughter, Kendall Kinniard; sister, Debbie (Charles) Gwinn; step-siblings, Frank (Debbie) Benham, and Carolyn Benham. A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be scheduled in the Spring of 2022. Memorials may be made to The Cleveland Clinic or to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
