Jeffrey C. Englert, age 52, of Leo, IN passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne to Michael (Claudia) Englert, who survives, and the late Carol Englert. Jeff served on the Fort Wayne Fire Department for 15 years. He also worked as a bingo caller at the American Legion Post 202, Chuck's Shoe Repair, and security officer at Adams Elementary. He enjoyed IU sports, and loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Jeff is survived by his wife, Kimberley Englert of Leo; children, Kyle, Kelsey, Kaley, Cara, and Sean; four grandchildren; and siblings, Jamie (Rochelle) Englert and Joseph Englert. Celebration of Life is 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Sunday July 17, 2022 at Ceruti's, 6325 Illinois Rd. Prior to the Celebration of Life, Firemen Honors is 2:30 pm at Fort Wayne Fire Department Station 1, 419 E. Main St. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
