Jeffrey A. "Jeff" Abbott, 59, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. Born in New Haven, Indiana, Jeff was the son of the late Patsy and George Richart and Harry Abbott. Jeff attended from New Haven High School. He worked for CPM Construction for 20 years before retiring in 2012. Jeff was always working on a big project. He also enjoyed fishing, being at the lake, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Karen Abbott; children, Kimberley (Torrey) Ehrman, Amber Abbott, Lora (Terry) Carter; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Scott and Eric Abbott. Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Abbott. Service is 2 pm, Friday, December 28, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton, with calling from 12 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to the family.
