Jeffery L. York, age 66, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Fort Wayne. He was born in New Castle, IN to Dorvin York of Spiceland, IN and the late Elizabeth York. Jeffery worked in social services and previously at Furrow Building Materials for 13 years. He will be remembered as a talented guitarist, gifted singer, and a semi-pro fisherman. Most of all, his Christian faith was the center of his life.

Jeffery is survived by his children, Erika York of Fort Wayne, and Matthew (Carrie) York of Tuscon, AZ; step-granddaughter, Jayden; siblings, Steve Larrimore, Karen (Steve) Chalfant, and Cheryl Gideon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda York. A graveside service is 2:45 pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 W. Main St.
