Jeffery Charles Steele was born on December 31,1961, in Stoughton, WI to Stanley Douglas Steele and Ruth Ries Steele.

He died on May 5th, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital.

He grew up In Janesville, WI going to school at Adam's, St Mary's, Marshall junior high school and Craig Senior High.

He moved to Peachtree city, Georgia in 1983. He worked construction until 1998 and then moved on to being a long haul trucker until his disability in 2005. He loved traveling all over the country.

He moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2016 until present.

In his spare time Jeff loved to go fishing, garden and train dogs. He was a hard worker and loved to help others with their projects.

He is survived by daughter Jessica Sisko (Chad) WI. and son Michael Steele (Amanda) GA, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. 3 sisters, Barbara Korom (Chuck) AZ, Karen Dennis (Tony) FL, Laurie McCutchan (Jim) WI, and numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Also, friend and caregiver James Edgar and faithful service dog Stormy.

He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, Vicki Sime and brother In law Dennis, Linda Ousnamer, Julie Teche and brother John Steele.

Jeff's wish was to be cremated and ashes to go in his favorite fishing spot!

We will have celebration of life at 7:00 at the Eagles club on Bluffton rd; on May 29th for family and friends.
