Jeanne M. Gould, age 83, of Grabill, IN passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 of Fort Wayne. She was born in Erie, PA to the late Oliver Edkin and Adelle Lucas. Jeanne spent her life serving others in children's and adult ministry, juvenile and prison ministry, women's ministry, and the Society of Handicap Citizens. She was previously a member of Weymouth Community Church in Medina, OH, a seventeen-year member of Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto, FL, and most recently she attended Headwater's Church. Jeanne is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerome Gould; children, Christine (Phil) Overholt of Fort Wayne, Patrick Gould of Cleveland, OH, and Halle (Randy) Weinberger of Brooklyn, NY; six grandchildren, Amanda (Ray Smith) Overholt, Kayla (Andrew) Leichty, Jonathan Overholt, Madison Gould, Jacob Gould, and Nolan Weinberger; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Oakley, Jensen, and Eliza; and sisters, Donna (Gerald) Laurila, and Marianne (Tony) Bandur. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brooklyn Grace Gould; and brother, Richard Edkin. A private memorial gathering will be held at later date. Memorials in her honor, may be made to Headwater's Church.
