Elizabeth Jayne Noble, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday evening, May 31, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 10, 1940, in Whitley County, a daughter of the late George and H. Lucille (Bennett) Noble.
After graduation in 1958 at Larwill High School, Jayne became a dental technician and then a surgical tech. She spent her life working in an eye care office.
Jayne was known for her laugh and fun sense of humor. She delighted in attending cousin reunions, family get-togethers and sharing stories from her childhood and young adult years. She also enjoyed photography and playing clarinet in the Fort Wayne Area Community Band. She is remembered for her kind heart, her fun-loving spirit and her love for each family member.
Jayne is survived and missed by her life partner Dr. Earl Braunlin; sister, Sue Anne DeLorme; her nieces, Lynette (Sue) Kerschner, Melanie K. (Kerry) Hutchings, Felicia (Frederic) Penel, Danielle (Michael) Lloyd and her nephews, David Lee (Julie) Nichols, Henri DeLorme and John (Spring) Scocozza. She will be forever remembered by her seven grand-nieces and nephews as well as her three great-grand nieces and nephew.
Jayne was preceded in death by her two sisters, Elaine (Walt) Scocozza and Marjorie J. (lee) Nichols.
At Jayne's request, there will be no services. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
