Jarrod D. Meeks, age 52, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at his home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne, to Ronald Sr. and Judy Meeks, who survive. Jarrod worked at Coretech for 30 years, and most recently at Rusmoore Transmission with his brother. He enjoyed working on cars, and most of all spending time with his family. He will be remembered for making laughter an important part of life encouraging all "to laugh five times a day". He is also survived by his children, Jimmie Dennis, Jenna (Brian) Hibbard, and Jarra (Preston) Meeks; grandchildren, Layla, Brenna, Alayna, Aubree, Carter, Maverick, and Aliza; brothers, Ronald "Buz" (Renee) Meeks Jr. and Don (Kathy) Meeks; and his fiancé, Tammy. Service is 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior.
