Janlee Winn Lewis Myers, 84, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Born in Garrett, Indiana on June 8, 1941, Janlee was a daughter of the late Irvin William and Betty Winn McCulloough Lewis. Janlee was an executive secretary with the American Red Cross for 15 years. She was a long-time member of the Women's Auxillary, Post 82. She was a loyal friend who loved all her family and friends, God, and country very much. She enjoyed reading, visiting family, friends, and rescuing stray animals. Janlee and her companion, Steve enjoyed many memories together, laughter, and their mutual love of pets. She also like playing cards, and WII bowling. Her beloved pets, Teddy Bear, Toby Bear, Romeo, and Wolfie were her constant companions. Janlee loved to laugh, and a good day was when she had a good laugh. Janlee is survived by her two sons, John Michael Lewis, Thomas (Kimberly Johnson) Lee Myers; special companion, Steve Williamson; grandchildren, Da'Juan Myers, LaKeshia (Kristopher) Underwood, Kala and Keyanna Myers; many great-grandchildren; sister, Michelle (Russell) King; along with many nieces, cousins, nephews and special niece, Joni Winn (Gregg) McCort. Janlee was preceded in death by her brother, Shannon John Lewis. Calling will be on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 10 am until noon at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or any other animal shelter that does NOT euthanize.
