James Edward Studle, 90, passed away February 16, 2021 at his home in Albion. Born on June 16, 1930 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Charles and Lois Studle. James attended Central High School. He worked at Zollner's for over 30 years, prior to his retirement. James enjoyed fishing, off-roading, mowing his yard, and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Janet (Weidner) Studle; children, Richard (Janice) Babcock, of Fort Wayne, Tom (Joyce) Studle of Columbia City, Mike Studle of Texas, Jim (Angie) Studle of Leo, Doug (Connie Severit) Lamboley of Columbia City; 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen Topp. James was preceded in death by his son, John Studle; siblings, Paul Studle, Virginia Bunsold, Catherine Marty, and Bernice Chester. Cemetery Service is 12 pm, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Catholic Cemetery, 3500 Lake Avenue. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Whitley County.
