James W. Shreve, 75, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana died April 13, 2017. He was born January 22, 1942 to James and Mabel Shreve.

James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alicia, two brothers, Steve (Carol) Shreve, Terry (Becky) Shreve, and one sister, Kathy Myer; two daughters, Wendy (Jeff) Clark, and Delicia (David) Pulse. Also surviving are one son, Michael (Kay) Rautenkranz, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and extended family.

James was a fountain of truth, affirmation, love, prophecy and laughter. He showed people genuine love and always pointed people to Christ. He loved fly fishing and making flys. He also enjoyed golfing with his favorite brother-in-laws. James will be missed by his family and friends, but we have the hope that we will see him again.

Calling hours will be held Thursday April 20, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne, IN. A funeral ceremony will take place immediately following calling hours at 7:30 p.m.
