James "Jimi" Clayton White II, 62, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29th, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones while listening to Journey. Jimi will be reunited with his daughter Parke, and his little brother Jimmy.
Jimi was a beautiful and passionate musician. He was the "best damn keyboardist around!"
Jimi was the keyboardist in the band, Banshee. He rocked out in leather pants, a silky button down top (that he preferred to keep unbuttoned to show off that chest of hair), and long brown hair. Jimi traveled the Midwest with his band mates and former wife, Suzi White. Jimi truly loved being on the road and living his dream. After settling down, Jimi built swimming pools for Swim Pools Inc where his skill set was highly valued. His knowledge was overwhelming! Jimi then moved on to work at the office of Nierman Brothers where he met his fiance, Linda.
"You don't have to have your life together to get to God, you go to God to get your life together!"
As we celebrate the memories we have of Jimi and mourn the loss of his life, we find comfort in knowing he is no longer facing his battles. Jimi knew he was going to heaven and we shall feel his loving eyes watching down on us.
Jimi is survived by his Father Jim (Liz) White and Mother Rose Wendel. His fiance Linda Eloph, his children Lindsay (Heath) Gentis, Jarred White, China White and Jasz White. His siblings, Tammy (Lora) White, Tyrone (Anna) White, Anitra (Brian) Eves, Pam Brock, Bob White, and Mitch White. His granddaughter Jaydyn White; step-brothers, Rob Wendel and John Wendel. Jimi is also survived by many other loving family members, Melissa Weinberg, Paula Flores, Derik Eloph, Payton Abbott Hales, Madison Abbott, Harley Weinberg, and Conner Leckrone. Jimi is preceded in death by his daughter Parke White, his brother Jimmy, and his stepfather Gene Wendel.
Please remember Jimi by the tune of music as he truly was a "music man." Jimi's favorite songs were Faithfully by Journey and Dust In The Wind by Kansas.
