Jacques "Jack" E. H. Janssens Jr., 61, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on September 19, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Fort Wayne in 1964, Jack graduated from Wayne High School and went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as an electrician. Over more than three decades, he worked across a wide range of industries and was a proud member of IBEW Local 305. Jack enjoyed camping with his family, taking road trips, and motorcycling with his wife. A talented craftsman, he had a gift for fixing things and turning any idea into reality. He also had a lifelong love of music, which remained a constant joy throughout his life. Jack is survived by his devoted, loving wife of 40 years, Angela Janssens; his children, Jacques (Michelle) Janssens III, Alyssa (Jason) Thompson, Jacob (Kaylie) Janssens, Aimee (Addison) Janssens, and Joel (Sabrina) Janssens; his 12 cherished grandchildren, Jacques IV, Colette, Samarah, Ethan, Mackenzie, Emily, Genevieve, Lydia, baby on the way, Hudson, Aiden, and Gianna; and his brother, Andrew Janssens. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jacques "Jack" Sr. and Edith Janssens, and his brothers, Timothy, Matthew, and Michael Janssens. He will be remembered most for his unwavering devotion to his family, his generous spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
