Jacqueline M. Smith, age 29, joined her Savior in heaven July 5th 2023. She was born December 1st, 1993 in Fort Wayne, the youngest child of Donald Lee Smith Jr. and Susan Harris Smith of Fort Wayne.

She was a lover of turtles, dinosaurs, crafting, and space exploration, and an avid athlete with Turnstone. She was known and loved by many members of the Fort Wayne community. She lent her time and skills to projects for the underserved, often volunteering with the Community Center, League, and The Rescue Mission. She was awarded for her public service for the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Jacqueline is survived by her parents, her siblings Julie (Zane) Davis of Milwaukee, WI, Brian (Megan) Smith of St. Louis, MO, Patrick Smith of Fort Wayne, IN, and nieces Nora, Grace, Abigail, and Eleanor.

She was prereceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Norma Harris and Donald and Lorraine Smith, Uncle Michael J. Workstel, and cousin, Donald K. Harris.

Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2023 at The Branch – Emmanuel Community Church, 7227 Bittersweet Moors Dr., with calling two hours prior beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Lindenwood Cemetery. Flowers or donations to Emmanuel Community Church or Turnstone Center.
