Isaiah Lee Abels, 24, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at home due to an anoxic brain injury while competing in a mixed martial arts fight. He was born to Robert George Abels and Charline (Moland) Abels in Fort Wayne on December 11, 2001. Isaiah graduated from Snider High School in 2020. Isaiah loved competing and training in MMA, playing video games, and watching anime. He was a laid-back, kind and gentle soul.

Isaiah is survived by his parents, Robert Abels and Charline Abels; siblings, Jessica, Zachary, Elijah, and Emma; and many aunts, uncles, a niece, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
