Iris Lee Stinson, 77, passed away at Parkview Regional Medical Center on Saturday, June 11, 2022 surrounded by family, after a long battle with COPD. Iris was born in LaGrange, Georgia a daughter of the late Harvey Scoggins and Martha Brinkman. She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Doyle) Janak of Brighton, CO; son, Travis Stinson of Fort Wayne; siblings, Debra Scoggins of Newman, GA, Lody ( Jimmy) Scoggins Carr of Greenville, GA, Charlene (Sherrell) Bartlett of Griffin, GA, Mack (Carol) Kitchens of Hogansville, GA, Gladys Myers of Independence, KY; niece Tammy Deem, whom she spent countless hours with; grandchildren, Bobbie T, Destiny, Devon, Kyle (Laura's son) Amber, Jake; along with many great-grandchildren and nieces, and nephews. Iris was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Scoggins; sister, Phyllis Lee Scoggins Hoagland; and daughter, Carla Deanna Smith. Anyone who knew Iris remembers her sweet southern charm and comments like "Lord have mercy" and "Love ya Sugga"
