Hope Eavey, age 86, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Groesbeck, TX to the late Paul and Michaela Ramos. Hope worked over 30 years with State Farm Insurance and was a faithful member of Wesleyan Redeemer Church. She was a dedicated Pastor's wife who enjoyed caring for her church family. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Rev. John M. Eavey; children, Teresa Jo (Paul) Smith of Shelbyville, TN and Pastor Michael (Amy) Eavey of Fort Wayne: 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; three sisters Mary Heller, Jessie Aguliar, Virginia (Tim) Baldwin. Hope was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Sue Wright; two brothers, James Cordova and Elic Ramos. Service is 11:00 am, Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Wesleyan Redeemer Church, 2127 Nelson St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022 at the church.
