Hilda Caywood, 102, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021. Born in Flint, Indiana Hilda was a daughter of the late Paul and Beulah Arnold. She worked as a unit secretary with Parkview Hospital for 13 years, prior to her retirement in 1984. She was an active member at Brookside Community Church and served as a mentor to young married women. She was a longtime member of Eastern Star #576 Trinity. Hilda enjoyed crocheting, cooking, canning, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Dale (Linda) Caywood, Mike (Nancy) Caywood, Diane (David) Frey; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Phillis Caywood. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel Caywood; children, Wendell Caywood, Donald Caywood, James Caywood; along with 3 brothers, and 5 sisters. Service is 10:30 am, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Brookside Community Church, 6102 Evard Rd, with calling one hour prior. Calling also at the church, Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
