Herbert (Herb) Raymond Joseph Didier III left this earth peacefully on January 6, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Herb was born the first son of Herbert Raymond Joseph Didier Jr. and Lillian Diane Beyer (Swift) in Boise, Idaho on September 13, 1983. Herb was the best big brother to brother Raymond Didier and LaRae Bane (Didier). He was blessed to have a loving stepmom, Bernie Didier, growing up. Herb is survived by these family members in addition to his stepdad, Hans Beyer, stepbrother and stepsister, Brayden (and wife Sarah) and Britta (and husband Justin), his sister-in-law, Amanda, and brother-in-law, Jeff, well as his treasured niece and nephews: Aubrie, Theo, Ryan and Noah.
Anyone who knew Herb knew he liked to be wherever the fun was. Herb reminded everyone to not take life too seriously by his constant joking, playful attitude and hearty laugh. I'm sure he's gotten the side-eye up in heaven a few times already for sneaking in "that's what she said" jokes. Herb's passion and hobby was photography, developing an extraordinary eye for capturing beauty. One of his photos won "Honorable Mention" at the Indianapolis State Fair in 2010. Herb loved travelling, especially to Colorado to go ATV'ing in the mountains, hike, kayak, and of course, take pictures.
While Herb's body gave him many physical limitations in the later part of his life, he demonstrated perseverance and fortitude every day by not letting those limitations stop him. He loved his family and friends wholeheartedly, without conditions. He forgave easily, laughed freely, and truly lived his life to its fullest. Loving Herb was the easiest thing to do. Herb, we hope you're up in heaven riding ATVs, shooting hoops, and dancing to "I'm too sexy for my shirt."
A celebration of Herb's life is being planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for you to send donations to Turnstone, a place that always made Herb feel welcome and valued.
