Henrietta Young, 84, passed away August 21, 2026, in Fort Wayne. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky.

Henrietta retired from Magnavox after working there for 30 years. She enjoyed shopping, dining, and having lunch with her children and grandchildren. She was such a nurturing person who invested everything in her family. Her top priority was making sure her family was taken care of. Family meant the world to her. She will be dearly missed.

Henrietta is survived by her husband of 67 years, John Young; daughters, Karen (Ric) Ehrman, Lisa (Marc) Phelps; granddaughter, Jamie (Erik) Rissner; granddaughter, Stefanie (Shane) Hedges; grandson, Ryan (Bri) Davis; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel (the late Bob) Philpot, Joyce (Carl) Miracle, and Jan (Clarence) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Myrtle Laws; and her brother, Phillip Laws

A private service will take place at a later date.
