Hazellee Sommer, 92, passed away on January 26, 2025. She was born on September 16, 1932, in Randolph County, IN, daughter to the late Ernest and Reba (Marsh) Cook. Hazellee graduated from Saratoga HS, IN, and was united in marriage to Glendon L. Sommer in 1951.

Hazellee was a homemaker for most of her life and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She liked to read books, and earlier in life she enjoyed going to the beach, swimming, and taking cruises. Hazellee leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by six children, Lila Smith, Glenn (Cynthia) Sommer, Randy (Angela) Sommer, Lita (Mark) Campbell, Lori (Dennis) Reichhart, and Robert (Susan) Sommer. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, sisters Colene (Phil) Wallace, Linda Jenkins, and Cathy Cook, and a brother, Rodney (Darla) Cook.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Glendon, in 1994, and brothers Richard, Donald, William, and Robert Cook; sisters, Irene Fields and Reva Curtner; and a granddaughter, Alissa Sommer.
