Harold Louis Householder, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Born in Avilla, Indiana, Harold was a son of the late Louis and Florence Housholder. Harold graduated from North Side High School and attended Tri State University. He worked for BF Goodrich and spent the final 25 years of his career there as an insurance representative for their union. Harold and his wife enjoyed traveling together and making memories. Harold was a gentleman and treated others as he would want to be treated. He was very athletic and played golf, tennis and billiards till his late seventies. He was fortunate enough to get a hole in one. Harold played competitive billiards and traveling to Vegas multiple times to compete. He enjoyed his cars, loved animals, and cherished his time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Jamie Householder; children, Sherry Terry, Linda (Bill) Moore, Lance (Melissa) Miller; grandchildren, Dalton, Molly, Boston, Carter, Zachary, and Hudson. Harold was preceded in death by his siblings, Wayne Housholder and Lois Koenig. Service is 2 pm, Monday, November 15, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
