Gregory “Greg” Lee McCrory, 69, of Fort Wayne, achieved the ultimate VICTORY on Thursday, September 17, 2026 as he stepped through the veil between here and eternity into the welcoming arms of his Savior, JESUS CHRIST, surrounded by his family and enveloped by worship. He fought hard! He never wavered in his mission to Glorify his Heavenly Father by fighting until victory was achieved and the Name of God was lifted high every step of the way.
Greg was born on July 16, 1957 to the late Richard Lee and Joy Nadine (Anschutz) McCrory in Alma, MI. He was a devoted and faithful follower of Christ and a member of Harvest Fellowship. Greg proudly served in the US Air Force where he received an Air Force Good Conduct Medal and Air Force Longevity Service Award. Greg was an IT Director at Diester Machine Company for over 24 years. He belonged to Anthony Wayne Toastmasters, CIO Forum, and a Hamm radio group. Greg loved being outdoors, airplanes, family game nights. He was a quiet servant leader, who always put others first.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Dawn (Glock) McCrory; children, Todd (Rebecca) McCrory, Tiffany (Michael) Cuccaro, Alianna McCrory, and Elisabeth McCrory; 10 grandchildren; soon-to-be 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Brian McCrory of Breckenridge, MI; sister, Lisa (Bob) Novosad of Grand Rapids, MI; and an expansive extended family who loved him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Harvest Fellowship (1001 W Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow the service at Eel River Cemetery. The family encourages you to wear blue, Greg’s favorite color, in his honor.
