Obituary

Gregory Michael Gotsch started his eternal life in heaven on April 08, 2025. Greg's journey on this Earth was marked by his steadfast love and faith in God. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16. His faith guided his life and inspired those around him. He shared his love and trust in God, leaving behind a legacy of his faith that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

He dedicated his life to his family, demonstrating unwavering love and support as a devoted husband to Ashley and a caring father to their cherished children, Asher and Fisher. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was the beloved son of Don and Diane Gotsch. His greatest joy came from telling dad jokes, grilling the perfect steak, reeling in fish with friends, and soaking up treasured moments at the lake with his family. He cherished the great outdoors, often exploring nature with his wife and kids, creating memories that will live on in their hearts.

Greg was a dedicated Program Manager and Engineer at BAE Systems since 2006, where he was recognized for his outstanding program performance, project commitment, and passion for helping others. A proud graduate of Purdue University, Greg earned his degree in Electrical Engineering, a field to which he brought both passion and innovation. Greg was a graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School in 2001.

Despite the trials he faced during his courageous 2-year fight against leukemia, Greg remained an uplifting presence, always finding joy in the simple moments. He lived life with an uplifting spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a story that would bring a smile. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Forever in our hearts, Greg leaves behind a legacy of kindness, joy, and unwavering commitment to both his loved ones and profession. Greg is survived by his wife, Ashley Gotsch of 16 years; their two children, Asher and Fisher Gotsch; parents, Donald and Diane Gotsch; brother, Dr. Matthew (Megan) Gotsch; sisters, Jenny (Mitch) Bieberich and Kristen (Andrew) Wilson; nephews, Jackson and Clayton Bieberich and Emmett Gotsch; and in-laws, Jeff and Julie Kukelhan and Josh Kukelhan.

Greg is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marcus and Betty Gotsch and Eugene and Dorothy Katt; and uncles, Mark Gotsch and Keith Gotsch.
