Gloria Nell Lewis, age 85, of Huntertown, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Born in Brinkley, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Burel and Martha Smith.

Gloria spent most of her career in Denver, Colorado, where she proudly served as a city bus driver for RTD. In 2002, she embraced a new spiritual path and converted to the LDS Church. She found joy in traveling, scrapbooking, and music - but above all, she will be remembered for the kindness and care she extended to others, both behind the wheel of her bus and in everyday life.

She is survived by her children, Shari Lewis and Cleotis Arnell Lewis; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and siblings Doretha, Loretha, Donnie, and Fran. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lewis, and brothers James and Robert.
