Glenna M. (Salzmann) Udell, age 75, passed away on March 24, 2024 from breast cancer. She was born on January 6, 1949 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Eugene H. and Mary T. Salzmann. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Mark V. Udell of Fort Wayne, IN; his three daughters, Michelle (Bill) Mills of Racine, WI, Kathleen (Kyle) Egolf of South Whitley, IN, and Jessica (Matthew) Colby of Johnsburg, IL. Glenna has three daughters, Rebecca M. (Tim) Farrant of Pickerington, OH, Melanie A. Jones of Elgin, IL, and Christine L. Jones of Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Isaac & Kayla Farrant, Zachary Jones, Zachary, Billy, and Natalie Mills, William, Adelaide & Lincoln Egolf, Penelope, Mirabelle & Sullivan Colby; three brothers, Mark R. (Diane) Salzmann, Thomas A. Salzmann, and Eugene H. (Dawn) Salzmann; three sisters, Marilyn J. (Terry) Diede of Hampshire, IL, Andrea M. (Mark) Dumler of Elgin, IL, and Cynthia M. (George) Martucci of Algonquin, IL; many nieces, nephews, and her best friend of 53 years, Rhonda L. Pethoud of Murrietta, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth J. Salzmann who passed away in 1991. To quote Glenna, "I'll see you in the funny papers". Service is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Brookside Church, 6102 Evard Rd., with calling one hour prior.
