Obituary

Glenn Roberts, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born in Jackson, Kentucky, to James and Lillie Roberts, who preceded him in death.

Glenn was a man of quiet strength and faith. A lifelong farmer at heart, he believed in honest work, simple living, and showing up for the people who needed him. Though he would readily admit he was far from perfect, he lived with humility, integrity, and a deep love for the Lord. His faith guided his life and shaped the way he served others.

Those who knew Glenn knew him as a fixer of things, of problems, and sometimes of worries. People often came to him when something needed mending, and he never turned them away. As a father, he carried that same spirit into his family, always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, or quietly step in when something needed to be made right.

Glenn was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He found his greatest joy in his family and took pride in the life he helped build. His legacy lives on in the values he passed down faith, perseverance, hard work, and love.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patty Roberts; his sons, Bret, Bart and Ted Roberts (Pamela) his grandsons, Zach (Shannon) and Alex; along with extended family and friends who will miss him deeply.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026 at 11:00 am Life Bridge Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Glenn has entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Though his absence is deeply felt, his life was well lived, and his memory will remain a blessing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life Bridge Church.
