Gladys R. Teekaram, age 91, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born on Hogg Island, Guyana to the late Balgobin and Baghoo Ramdhani. She worked as the head teacher for several schools in Guyana. Currently she is a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Arnold (ZsuZsa) Teekaram of Ascot, England, Randall (Desiree) Teekaram of Fort Wayne, Roma (Harry) Singh of Orlando, FL, and Karl Teekaram of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, Abigail, Jennifer, Samuel, Julian, Ashley, Amanda, and Raymond; and one great-grandson, Kaiden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Teekaram; two brothers, Albert Ramdhani and Hubert Ramdhani; and two sisters, Champa Sookram and Emelda Malley. Service is 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1126 S. Barr St., with calling two-hours prior beginning at 11:00 am. Burial at Old Concordia Cemetery.
