Gerrome "Roni" Lamar Rowles passed away on June 23, 2025. Gerrome was from Fort Wayne but also lived in Grand Rapids Michigan. Gerrome worked at Serv-All Republic recycling center for several years He loved cars, long drives and his family. His smile, hug, and words of wisdom will be greatly missed. Gerrome was born to Mother Carolyn Rowles and Father Gerrome Thomas SR. He leaves his daughters, Abreah and Abryah Smith-Rowles and their mother Tomeka; his siblings, Tanisha Rowles; Nieces, Timieika Rowles; children Akai, Abel, Amon Reed Denkayira Taylor; son Carter Thomas and Amira Cooper Nephews, Bakari Cooper, Anthony Rowles; daughter Anika Cayson, Cedric Taylor; children Kamari ,Amaya Taylor. Special Aunt, Geraldine Rowles. Aunties and Uncles the Thomas family Carolyn, Tinny, Mary Ann, Annette, and Larry. The Rowles family Mark, Kevin, Timthony, Deyampared, Yolanda ,Sara and Betty. Special cousins, Deandra Rowles Young mi Nurfleet and Tyray Rowles. Preceded in death by Grandparents, Robter Rowles and Josephie Rowles, also Uncle Kenneth, and Uncle Robert. And a host of close friends and loved ones. There will be a Celebration of Life visitation for Gerrome on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025 from 2-3 pm with private family time from 1-2pm with the service beginning at 3pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 6557 N. Clinton St. The service will be officiated by Temecula Nelson.
