Georgianne "Georgie" Spangler, 69, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Georgie was a daughter of the late George and Beatrice "Betty" Weimer. She graduated from North Side High School. Georgie and her husband owned Tavern By The Green for many years. She spent much of her life at the lakes and loved every moment spent with her family and friends. Georgie was vibrant, fun, and the life of the party. Georgie and her husband vacationed at their favorite spot, Aruba for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Gaspar Catholic Church in Rome City. Surviving are her husband, Dean Spangler; children, Michelle Clayton, Jeremy Campbell; grandchildren, Zackary Campbell, Conner Clayton, Alyssa Tokos; sisters, Tara Mitchell, and Marla (Mike) Timberlin. A Celebration of Georgie's Life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
