George Edward Moore, age 79, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Paterson, NJ to the late George Moore and Ellen Thomas. George worked as a truck driver with Hiner Transport and JAT of Fort Wayne for over 50 years, logging over 3 million miles. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Colleen Moore; children, Colleen Crawford, Tye (Britany) Moore, and Kip Moore; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was also preceded in death by two siblings. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Fort Wayne Humane.
