Gayle Chobot's Obituary
Gayle H. Chobot, 83, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, Gayle was a daughter of the late Douglass and Gertrude (Johnson) Hoffmann. She was a member of Headwaters Church. Surviving are her husband, Stephen Chobot; sons, Trevor (Rachel) Chobot, Kevin (Alisa Bowman) Chobot; grandchildren, Kara, Peter, Valerie, Alex, Dylan; great-granddaughter, Piper; and her beloved dog, Trekker. Gayle was preceded in death by her brother, Clive Hoffmann. A Celebration of Gayle's Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Leader Dogs For the Blind, 1039 S. Rochester Road, Rochester Hills, MI. 48307 or Headwaters Church.
