Gayle M. Cheviron, age 80, passed away October 31, 2018 in Fort Wayne. She was born August 9, 1938 in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph and Gail Vicic. Gayle worked for 30 years with several local medical offices. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. Gayle is survived by her children, Susan (Jim) Gentile, Michael (Denise) Cheviron both of Fort Wayne, and Matthew (Yvonne) Cheviron of Gilbert, AZ; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Angela (Chris) Cheviron-Josey of High Point, NC; sister-in-law, Susan Papenfuss of Fort Wayne; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Stephen Cheviron; and son, J. Stephen Cheviron, Jr. Mass of Christian Burial is 12:00 noon, Monday, November 5, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd., with calling one hour prior. Calling also Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St, with a Rosary Service at 2:00 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
