Gary L. Shuler, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday June 1st, 2026. He was born to the late Ronald and Barbara Shuler in Fort Wayne.

Gary graduated from Elmhurst High School class of 1971. He then went to work for General Electric, Harvester, Falstaff, and Heritage Food Service. He eventually was employed with the City of Fort Wayne Park Board from where he retired.

Gary was a fan of Purdue basketball and the Chicago Bears.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 53 years, Karen Shuler; children, Amy (Lisa Mathias) Shuler, Renee Noga, and Eric Shuler; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Rinda (John) Hontz, Jeff (Robin) Shuler, Jeanette Andrews, and Carmen (Ron Zinko) Quinn.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday June 6th, 2026 at the FOP Lodge, 2125 Olladale Drive from 2-5pm.
