Gary E. Onz, 73, of Angola, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. Gary was born in Austria to Josef and Maria Onz. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Gary retired from Slater Steel and was also co-owner of Hy-Tec Fiberglass. He enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his Harley with his friends.
Gary is survived by his mother, Maria Onz; daughter, Tina (Matt) Willis; grandchildren, Alexis (Travis) Clouse, Austin (Macklin) Davenport; and Aiden Willis; great grandchildren, Harper, and Bradley Clouse; sister, Elisabeth Onz.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Service for Gary will take place on Friday May 10, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior, visitation will also take place on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 pm, all at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be directed to All Paws and Claws Veterinarian Clinic.
