Gary R. Klaehn, age 75 passed away on August 28, 2026, in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late William and Yvonne Klaehn.

Gary served the community as a funeral director and owned and operated Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home. He also worked as an accountant and was active in the Metro Business Group. He was a devoted member of the Mizpah Shiners and Trinity English Lutheran Church.

Gary will be remembered as someone who enjoyed helping others and had a generous spirit. Most of all, he loved time spent with his family.

Gary is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosanne Klaehn; four children, Sarah Klaehn, Joseph (Lisa) Klaehn, Sam (Addie) Klaehn, and Nathan (Deisi) Klaehn; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Karen Anastos, Kay (Jerry) Misik, Gail MacMaster, Janet (Terry) McNulty, Jeff (Christy) Klaehn, and Jill Streich

A memorial service is 11:00 am, Friday, October 9, 2026 at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 W. Washington Blvd,, with calling two hours prior, beginning at 9:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in Gary's honor to Shriners Hospital for children or the Indiana Donor Network.
