Francis W. Ward, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Eastman, WI to the late Joseph and Roxana Ward. Francis worked with AC Nielsen as a Marketing Research Field Representative and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. He was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan from the age of 8. He was a member of Headwaters Church where he enjoyed being a greeter at the door. He dedicated to memory more than 2,000 verses and loved to quote them to whomever would listen.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis Ward of Fort Wayne; children, Timothy (Lisa) Ward of Fort Wayne, Nathan (Cindy) Ward of Umatilla, FL, and Elisabeth (David) Jacoby of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Francis was preceded in death by his son, John Ward; and sister, Betty Hogue. Service is 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Headwaters Church, 2000 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior.
